The British Warmblood is a robust, powerful horse bred with strong bones. The breed has a strong neck on an elegant body, a broad, long back, and good hooves, though they are sometimes flat.
The mane and tail are very thick.
The British Warmblood is a relatively long-lived, unpretentious and relentless horse. The breed is willing and teachable with a very good temperament.
British Warmbloods generally come in solid colors. Other patterns such as pinto, rabicano, and brindle ARE allowed.

They come in all solid colors, as well as pinto, rabicano, and brindle.
The horses combine the refinement of the Arabian with the animation of the Saddlebred. The resulting horse has the high-set, upright, long, swan-like neck of the Saddlebred. The neck should not have a pronounced crest.
The head is usually refined and small, with small ears and either a straight or concave profile. The horses are close-coupled with a level topline and have a very deep, laid back shoulder. The tail carriage is high.
The NSH comes in all colors, the most esteemed color is palomino however.
